What’s The Process Like?

If you’re considering removing your tattoo, you will first come in for a complimentary consultation so we can take a look at the tattoo’s colour, check the level of fading, and ask you a few questions about the original procedure or tattoo. This quick consultation will help us decide how long your treatments will be and how many sessions you will need. Some colours are harder to fade, so we will take this into account when planning your treatments. 

If you decide to go ahead with laser tattoo removal, your treatments could be anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes, depending on the size of your tattoo. We will recommend a numbing cream to apply beforehand and give you simple instructions for that. 

The sensation of the laser feels like an elastic band being snapped against the skin. Not terribly painful, but uncomfortable for some people. The numbing cream will help reduce any discomfort. 

Your treatment sessions will usually happen every 8 weeks, and the number of sessions depends on all the unique factors of your tattoo.
