What does it treat?
TriFractional technology can help with many problem areas such as:
- Reduce wrinkles and fine lines
- Contour and lift the face
- Tighten and firm the skin
- Improve the appearance of scars (acne, stretch marks)
- Minimize skin pigmentation
This treatment can be done on most parts of the body including the face, arms, legs, midsection, chest and back.
How it works
Using the Maximus machine, TriFractional is a 1-pulse fractional technology that removes pinpoint size spots of tissue on the epidermis and penetrates 0.2 mm deep. Each pin slides into the epidermis and gradually and superficially renews a wide surface area of tissue. This creates micro-wounds which trigger the body’s natural healing response mechanism, resulting in the creation of healthy skin tissue. After treatment, the untreated areas function as healing centers, promoting effective skin renewal.
These treatments are typically done in a series of three, with four weeks in between each treatment.
Who is it for?
These treatments can be used on anyone from young adults with acne scarring to those wishing to improve the look of wrinkles and fine lines.
Does it hurt?
This procedure can be uncomfortable. When treating the face, a topical numbing cream is applied to help with the discomfort as this is the most sensitive area.
There is no real downtime needed after your skin resurfacing treatment, however the skin will be pink after the procedure as the healing continues. Technicians recommend not wearing any makeup that will clog the pores for at least 24 hours, and to apply the recommended regenerating cream to sooth and assist in the skins healing process.
TriFractional treatments can also be combined in a series with our TriPollar skin tightening for maximum results. This series is known as Trilipo MED. During this series, you would have 6 TriPollar treatments at 3 weeks apart. On visits 1,3 and 5, a TriFractional treatment would also be done to deliver unprecedented results.
