How Does it Work?

Treating melasma is a gradual process. That means it requires multiple sessions to see long-lasting results. Depending on the condition of your skin and the cause of the uneven tone, it will likely take between 6 and 10 sessions.

During treatment, your technician will apply Spectra lotion that will give your skin a temporary muddy appearance, and then the laser treatment will begin. It won’t hurt, but it may feel warm and tingly, and you will hear a light snapping as the laser passes over your skin.
